Extra training widens your knowledge. and your comfort zone. There are things you don't want to learn the hard way.
Diving from a boat is different than diving from shore. Especialy a Live-Aboard Dive Boat . Can be done on any boat dive.
Just what it sounds like. Learn to safely dive submerged man made objects, and why you might not want to. We will do at least four dives.
Advanced Open Water Diver is a prerequisite.
Learn the things that must be considered when diving to depths between 60' and 130 feet We will be doing at least two dives, probably 3.

TREASURE! Learn to find and safely retrieve things that are on the bottom. This is my favorite.. We will be doing at least 3, but probably 4 dives. Advanced Open Water Diver is a prerequisite.
It all changes after dark. Things look different. Things are different. It's well worth doing. We will be doing two, maybe three dives. Advanced Open Water Diver is a prerequisite.
Enriched air. More oxygen means less nitrogen. This can be good, as in longer bottom times, or bad, as in depth limitations. Worth doing.

This covers Basic First Aid, CPR, AED, Emergency Oxygen, Neurological Assesment, Hazardous Marine Life.
This is considerably more involved than EFR.
This can be done in one full day or three full evenings. It is worth taking, even for non divers. Very "hands on"
It's a little more involved than just putting a mask on someone and opening a valve.
We don't rent worn out gear. If we wouldn't use it, we won't let you either. Cert cards required for all rentals.

We have never been able to set up a big trip to the Caribbean, but we do go to Lake Mohave/Mead, Sand Hollow, Fish Lake, and other places within a days drive. We usually have something planned.
We never charge anything for folks to come with us anywhere, but you do need to cover your own expenses/lodging/meals. Sometimes we have room in the van, sometimes we don't. Give us a call, really.
